Did you say 300 games???? Wow!!!! How do you manage playing those games? Like do you have a schedule? Do you play every week? Do you have a game night and how do you choose which game to play?

I stopped buying board games because no one will play with me except for a few of the classics. Now I only buy one if it has a solo mode. I totally get the entire love of game boards! I love how you have different ways of choosing. 🥰🥰

Yanno who would LOVE to play board games with you?

The librarians at your local public branch library.

They will help you figure out those damn rules.

They will tell you “Yanno, this game reminds me of this book series I read.”

If you go in there and tell them that you love playing board games but it’s hard to find people to play with, NOT ONLY will they play with you, but they will bend over backward to do anything and everything that they can to help you start a board game group at the branch.

Libraries are the answer to everything.

And growing.

I collect board games.

We do try to play weekly. Some games we'll go years without playing. Some games are re-themed (like Clue and Monopoly). Some haven't even been opened.

As for choosing what to play....sometimes it's by mood (friendly or funny or 'let's ruin the family tonight and play Phase 10/Uno/Cover Your A$$ets'), sometimes by theme ('Round up all the pirate games'), sometimes we 'game board it'.... everyone picks a game, we all rank in order of preference, highest score wins. It's usually everyone's second place pick, LOL! (Sometimes we pick dinner this way, too. Need 3+ people tho.)
