Weekly Digest: Architecture
This week was all about integrating architecture into fictional worlds to highlight peoples and their culture, with a community side quest to better understand unreliable narrators.
Architecture and Constructions
How people in your world build things, especially buildings, says a lot about their values, technology level, local geography, and available resources. More than just comfort, buildings provide security from dangerous creatures and extreme weather. Including architectural details in your stories is an excellent way of showing, rather than telling, much about a people and their place in the world around them.
